Cookie policy

Technical cookies (always active)

vdash uses a session cookie to keep you signed in after login, managed by the authentication library (Auth.js) we use internally — roughly authjs.session-token and a login-request anti-forgery cookie (authjs.csrf-token). These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly requested (signing in to your account): as such, and as required by law, they don't need consent. They expire at the end of the session or on logout.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

vdash doesn't currently use any statistical analysis or tracking service — there are no third-party cookies, pixels, or advertising scripts. If we ever enable aggregated usage measurement, it will only be activated with your explicit consent, requested via the cookie banner, and this page will be updated with the details (purpose, duration, whether an external provider is involved).

How to change your mind

You can accept, reject, or change your choice about analytics cookies at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link visible in the bottom right of every page. The preference is saved only in your browser (localStorage), not on a server, and you can delete it anytime from your browser settings.

Map (optional)

If an external map style background is configured by the site operator, viewing the map may involve requests to the map tile provider used for the background. By default, vdash doesn't contact any third-party service for the map.
